"Unpacking Youth Potential"
Tauba Youth Foundation Uganda was formally registered as a community-based group in April 2016 and a national NGO in December 2021. Over the years, Tauba Youth Foundation was founded basing on the Prophet Mohammed acts of charity and the teachings of the Holy Quran. And by this, the founding Muslim brothers drew inspiration to help the needy and vulnerable people in Uganda.
Our Vision
To beneficially transform families in Uganda communities by providing them with basic needs, as well as promoting gender equality and empowerment amongst Ugandan communities in order to reduce poverty in Uganda as a whole.
Our Mission
We are committed to the improvement of quality of life amongst vulnerable groups of people in their communities by providing them with education, health care, clean water, and other basic needs. in order to transform Ugandan communities and reduce poverty nationwide.
Objectives
- To improve and teach skills among community members.
- To uplift the standard of living of members.
- To participate in government programmes.
- To create more income generating activities for members.
Focus Area
- Daawah: Qur’an Competitions, Online Qur’an School, Islamic Seminars, Islamic Camps, etc.
- Charity: Clothes Campaign, Idd Packages, Iftaar, Weekly Door to Door Packages, Charity Visits, etc.
- Education: Bursaries at all levels of Education, Scholastic materials campaign etc.
- A Climate and Nature Conscious Citizenry: We support communities, movement-builders, and businesses to prioritize environmental sustainability in their ways
